Shimano M163 SPD Shoe and M530 SPD Pedal 25th Anniversary Package is an XC Racer/Trail riding durable shoe and pedal set. This gives a low weight shoe with glass fibre midsole for pedal power and the protection and durability needed for the roughness of more difficult trail descents. While the dual sided pedal allows easy clip in and the outer cage improves the contact area for better feel and control.

Low profile armour in the shoe helps to protect the foot from terrain and give higher durability for the shoe. Glass fibre reinforcement in the midsole gives a strong platform to put power through the pedal. Micro adjust buckle and velcro closures make the shoe easier to fit differing foot shapes. The shoe outsole uses large sparse lugs to give grip in mud, but then shed it after.

This trail pedal is ideally suited to tackle single track and ultra-technical descents with control and confidence. The large integrated cage provides excellent pedal to shoe contact increasing stability and control.
