The Lyon Ballast bag is widely used in climbing walls to provide additional mass to belayers where there is a significant difference in body weights between them and the climber. When positioned next to the belayer, a connection may be made between the bag and the belayers harness tie in point, effectively increasing their mass
Made from tough PVC with a double base; the high volume rectangular shape is capable of taking 2 x 25kg bags of sand (not supplied). The connection point is formed from a continuous webbing loop that passes under the bag and is protected from abrasion within the double base.
